JONATHAN K. WALLER’s (Book, Music, Lyrics & Original Story) music and lyrics for “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley” have been heard all over the country via a 60+ city national tour produced by Worklight Productions and over 150 amateur productions licensed through Music Theatre International. Waller’s cabaret “The Ballad of Jonathan K. Waller” has been seen at the popular NYC venue Don’t Tell Mama’s. He has written original scores for short films including Alrick Brown’s “The Adventures of Supern****r” (2004 Best Short Film, NJ International Film Festival) and Stephen Deline’s “Outpost.” Mr. Waller was commissioned to write the centennial celebration piece for Roland Park Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, MD for SATB choir, brass and organ. When he is not writing, Mr. Waller serves as Director of Marketing for Baltimore’s Everyman Theatre. He has taught workshops at the Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre, where he also served as Director of External Affairs, and Young Actors Theatre at McDonogh School, where he is currently the Producing Artistic Director with his wife Rachel. He was awarded the Alan Menken Composition Award at New York University, where he graduated cum laude. He is the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Grace.

MARTY JOHNSON (Original Story) is an experienced director, teacher and playwright in the field of Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) and, as Director of Education and Resident Director at iTheatrics, he supervises iTheatrics’ professional development series for teachers, Junior Teaching Intensives, the Broadway Academy and various other workshops. He is a contributing author of the musical theatre curriculum for the MacMillan/McGraw-Hill “Spotlight on Music” textbook, and currently is on the board of TYA/USA, the national service organization promoting the power of professional theatre for young audiences.
